Epoxy adhesives are two-component adhesive composed of resin and hardener. It is cured by the exothermic reaction that is released when the components are mixed in the correct ratio and in the right manner.
It is used for reliable stainless repair and maintenance of aluminum castings, machinery and equipment typically used in HVAC applications. Ideal for tool making, holding apparatus, metal forming molds and repairing pipe, valve, equipment. Once cured, it can be drilled, tapped, leveled or painted.
Usage: Surfaces should be dry, clean and rough without rust or oxidation. Mix two component until a homogeneous mixture is obtained and apply the product on the surface or hole. Spread it with a spatula and press firmly to avoid trapping air, ensure maximum surface contact. Use fiberglass, sheet metal or wire mesh to fill large gaps and holes. For best results, the product should be applied and stored at temperatures below 20˚C. Store the product in a dry and cool place after application.
